- Serve as a key member of the Leadership Team and brand ambassador for the organization.
- Build a network of partners to ensure E4E has the necessary resources to achieve its mission.
A Day in the Life
Your Network
Access to Leadership
- Your manager: Simone Ward, manages all EDs. Her vast political and policy experience includes time at Emily's List and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee where she built pipelines of talent.
- Executive Director Cohort: EDs self-organize and meet with each other to seek advice from peers.
- Founders: Both Sydney and Evan -- E4E's founders and Co-CEOs -- are excited to step back or lean in as much as you need/want.
- The Board: The E4E board is deeply engaged in E4E's strategy. Fifty percent of board members are current or former teachers -- keeping the board grounded in what matters most to teachers.
- National Team Leads: As ED, you will work directly with the national team leads to develop and implement your chapter program goals and budget in Human Resources, Development, Partnerships, Regional Strategy and External Affairs.
State of Affairs
"We decided to organize ourselves for each other, but also because our collective voice is required for E4E to be all it ought to be. Evan and Sydney have supported this move and have created space for increased ED voice and decision making during national convenings. This shift has been powerful."
